Paban Thapa Magar

Training Director

Paban is a Ex – Indian Navy with a 15 years’ experience, worked in RCCL Cruise lines for 6 years ,as well Britannia's longest serving Nepalese Team Leader and worked as a Training manager in Britannia Maritime Security company for 7 years with more than 75 transits in High Risk Area against Somalian Pirates. Currently based in Kathmandu and runs UMI training courses for all candidates seeking for CDC & STCW10 ,as he is certified STCW instructor from Arina Sync Marine Institute , Mumbai, India. He is also FPOSi L4, MIRA and FREC level 3 instructor certified from UK.

Robin has 4 years work experience on all Marine documents plus office admin with NIMS/BIMS and now with Universal Marine Institute. She overall runs marketing for Universal Marine Institute.

Kamal is decade long experienced hospitality trainer in reputed international hotels chain with exceptional achievements. Kamal receive more then 25 awards during his career, "Leader of the year 2018" Training Champion 2018, Green and sustainable champion 2017 from Fairmont Dubai are example of his exceptional contribution and recognitions towards learning and development. He is also certified departmental trainer and in-charge of learning and development wing for 4 time best desert resort award-wining resort the Telal Resort UAE. And London based hotel chain Mondo hospitality. Kamal working as a manager in leading cruise ship company MSC Cruise Company since last 2 years. Now Kamal is committed to bring his expertise and international exposure to enhance Nepalese hospitality sector by offing wide range for Room Division Course in our institute.
